PS6 Rumors vs Nintendo Switch 2 – What’s Actually Legit?
So I’ve been seeing a lot of chatter online about both the PS6 and the Switch 2, and honestly, here’s how it looks from everything I’ve read so far:
PS6 – Just Rumors for Now
There’s no official info from Sony. A bunch of leaks and “sources” claim it’s coming around 2027, maybe with wild stuff like full cloud integration or some modular design, but nothing is confirmed. It honestly feels like people are just guessing at this point.
Switch 2 – Looks Much More Real
The Switch 2, on the other hand, seems to be very much happening. A lot of developers have supposedly gotten dev kits already, and multiple reliable sources are hinting at a 2025 or early 2026 release.
It’s likely going to be more powerful but still hybrid like the current Switch. And apparently, it might support older Switch games too.
My Take
If you’re wondering which one is actually happening sooner — definitely the Switch 2. PS6 is still a few years off and mostly just rumor territory right now.
